Launched in March 2022, the Swatch × Omega MoonSwatch is a Swatch Group in-house collaboration translating the iconic Omega Speedmaster Moonwatch into bioceramic at an accessible ~$260 retail price. It generated unprecedented queues globally and a volatile secondary market. Eleven planet-themed colorways were issued; additional drops followed. It occupies a unique position: neither true luxury nor ordinary fashion watch, but a culturally significant collector object.
Buyer's note Secondary market has largely corrected to near retail. Mission to the Moon and Moonshine Gold colorways retain modest premiums; full box/papers and unworn condition are non-negotiable for buyers.
