All current Daytonas are 40mm — fixed since the 16520 in 1988. This book splits two gens: 116-prefix (cal. 4130, through ~2023) and current 126-prefix (cal. 4131, 2023+), told apart by the revised bracelet and skeletonized rotor. Metal sets value: Rolesor two-tone (116523, 126503-0001) is the entry to precious-metal Daytonas; full yellow (126508-0008) and white gold (116519L, 126509) step up; gem-set (116589RBR) tops retail and secondary alike. Verify dial condition and full set on every piece — paper moves the number.
Manual-wind refs (1963–1987), including the "Paul Newman" exotics, set the bloodline; 16520 (1988) brought the 40mm Zenith-based auto; 116520 (2000) went fully in-house with cal. 4130; the 126-series (2023) refined it as cal. 4131.
